A-F Answers: STAAR Data files show values of 0, 1, or 2 for progress. are these point values used to calculate school progress, part a: academic growth?

The Answer:

In the STAAR data files a zero indicates limited progress, a one indicates expected progress, and a two indicates accelerated progress. For academic growth, one point is awarded for expected or accelerated growth. For additional information, including on when a half a point is awarded, see the matrices in chapter three of the 2019 accountability manual.
